When Instagram first came to be, it was difficult to navigate in browsers. It really was built with only the mobile app in mind, at first. And while there's still no way to actually upload your photographs to Instagram within the app itself at your computer, you can do pretty much everything else. There are several apps you can use in Shift like to post to Instagram on your desktop including Later, Buffer, and Hootsuite. These days, Instagram allows you to view Stories, watch IGTV, search and explore tags and locations, and follow (and unfollow, let's be real) accounts from your desktop computer. Let’s face it, it’s just so much nicer to view photos at a high resolution on a big desktop monitor rather than having to see smaller, lower quality versions of those pictures on your phone.
